Water Colors: Visions from the Deep- Reception tonight!
Hello all! Well we went missing for a little bit, but now that the semester at Valley has started up again, we hope to start fresh as well giving you the latest info on SBVC Art Department events.
Our newest exhibition features wonderful underwater photography by Redlands Underwater Photography Club. Come and meet the artists and listen to a brief 15 minute talk about the process of underwater photography.
Reception will be from 5pm-7pm

Dia De Los Muertos Exhibition and Celebration TONIGHT
Come join us for our reception for Gresham Art Gallery’s Dia De Los Muertos Exhibition. There will also be lots of activity going on outside of the gallery as well, many student clubs will be selling food, there will be aztec dancers, and more. The reception and activities will run from 5pm-9pm.

Every Which Way by Rick Caughman, Reception on Monday!
Our first exhibition of the Fall semester is by local artist Rick Caughman titled Every Which Way. He presents art pieces of various mediums and concepts. Come check it out! The show will run until September 9th and the reception will be this coming Monday (August 22nd) in the evening.
The San Bernardino Hometown Heroes Military Banners Program, in conjunction with the City of San Bernardino, is inviting all artistically talented high school and college students to submit designs for banners that will be displayed on the light poles of major streets throughout the city which will honor the many men and women who are in the United States Armed Forces who are residents of the city. The winning design will be the official banner design for all banners displayed in the city. Scholarships will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place designs.
The deadline to submit designs is September 23rd, 2011. You may submit designs to Renee Ramey at ramey_re@sbcity.org. If you have questions you can call the office at the following number: 909-384-5188
